Fishing In Fort Lauderdale

Florida has been caled the fishing capitol of the world and one of the best places in Florida to fish is Fort Lauderdale. There are so many species of fish you can fish for and so many places you can go to fish, the hardest part of fishing in Fort Lauderdale is choosing where to go. To start with there are the Everglades. Take a quick ride out Aligator Alley  and just pull over to the side of the road for great bass fishing. There are also plenty of fresh water lakes and hundreds of miles of canales where you can catch bass. If you prefer saltwater fishing there are plenty of bridges and docks along the Intercostal Waterway you can wet a line from. Some of the favorite local fish to target are seatrout, flounder, snook and tarpon. If you feel like targeting larger pray you can charter a boat and go on a Fort Lauderdale deep sea fishing trip. There are many boats to choose from. My favorite is the Reel Work. You can catch anything from sailfish to dolphin, swordfish to king mackerel or even bottom fish for snapper and grouper. No mater what you like to fish for you can allways catch something in Fort Lauderdale.
